STOP PRESS 2007
As of this notice, the ANKC and the CCCQ do not recognise any genetic testing service in Australia.
There are people going around collecting swabs from Jack Russell terriers that claim they are authorised to do so.
Be aware that these swab collectors are not recognised by the ANKC or the CCCQ. They are only recognised by the private company that certified them.
Collections by these people at show are not sanctioned by the CCCQ.
There is no known DNA testing for lens luxation in Jack Russell terriers.
You may have a vet examine your dogs eyes and get a result on the day but you will be required to continually have your dogs eyes checked for lens luxation. Remember lens luxation may be caused by accident.
